On Oct. 20, 2012, two Minneapolis groups gathered–one in NE Mpls, the other in North Mpls–for a rally, then March to the Broadway Bridge crossing the Mississippi River. There, the two groups converged and continued to march to the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers Union Parking Lot. Leaders from the community, including U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison and Hennepin County Attorney Mark Freeman were on sight to stand up and say Vote No to the Voter Restriction Amendment.
